Acceptable use
Last updated 29 October 2026. This policy applies to every image and video you upload and every result you download. It is part of the terms.
What you may not upload or create
- Sexual content. Pornography, sexually explicit material, and nudity intended to arouse.
- Anything sexualising minors. Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual or suggestive content involving a minor. This is reported to the authorities.
- Deepfakes and impersonation. Cutting out a real, identifiable person to place them in a scene they were not in without their consent, making someone appear to do or endorse something they did not, or anything made to pass as another person or an organisation.
- Violence and self-harm. Graphic violence or gore, content promoting self-harm or suicide, and terrorist or violent extremist material.
- Hate and harassment. Content attacking people for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability; harassment, threats and the publishing of someone’s private information.
- Infringement. Images and videos you do not have the right to use and modify, and results that infringe someone else’s copyright or trademark.
You may only upload files you own or are allowed to modify. An image or video in which a real person can be identified needs that person’s permission.
How the tools use AI
Background removal is done by machine-learning models: videos by VEED’s Video Background Removal model and images by Bria’s background removal model. They separate the subject from what is behind it; they do not generate new people, objects or scenes. Do not present an edited image or video as an unaltered original where that would mislead anyone.
How content is handled
- Private by default. Uploads and results are reachable only by the account that uploaded them and are never published on this site.
- Short retention. Uploads are deleted after processing and results after 7 days, as the privacy page sets out.
- People review reports. Every report of misuse is read by a person, and accounts found breaking this policy are acted on.
What happens when this policy is broken
- The content is removed and further processing refused.
- A first, minor breach may get a warning.
- Repeated or serious breaches lead to suspension or closure of the account.
- A closed account loses its unused credits, and nothing paid for is refunded where the account was closed for breaking this policy.
- Child sexual abuse material and other content the law requires us to report is reported to the authorities, and we cooperate with lawful requests for information.
Reporting misuse
Write to support@bgremover.online with “Report” in the subject and whatever helps us find what you saw. Every report is read by a person.
