Preview colors are not baked into your transparent file.
A WebM video with VP9 alpha. It stays transparent in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and OBS, and can be placed over any background on a web page.
Safari plays WebM but ignores its alpha channel, so the background shows as black. Apple devices need HEVC with alpha, which we do not produce yet. The black background guide explains the workarounds.
One credit per started second: a 7.2-second clip uses 8 credits. New accounts get 5 free credits, and a failed job returns its credits automatically.
MP4, MOV, WebM or M4V, up to 60 seconds, 30 fps, 1080p and 200 MB per clip. Split longer footage into parts.
Yes. Add it as a Media Source; the transparent areas show your scene behind the subject. Do not add a chroma key—there is nothing left to key.
They are the hardest cases for automatic removal. Check the result over light and dark backgrounds; if a failure is our fault, write to us and we return the credits.
Most desktop players—Windows Media Player, Films & TV, VLC and QuickTime—ignore the alpha channel in WebM, so they show a black background and the rough pixels around the edges that the alpha normally hides. The file is still transparent: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, OBS and web pages show it correctly, and the free transparency checker previews it over a checkerboard. For Premiere, After Effects, Resolve or Final Cut, export ProRes 4444.
Every result is a transparent WebM with verified alpha, and can also be exported as ProRes 4444 for editing software.

Your clip goes through a private processing job. Progress and errors come from the server, not a simulated timer.
